It's called Fit to Serve for a reason
There's a scene in one of the aliens versus predators movies where someone says something like "And remember everyone protect HER" and someone says something about chivalry or sexism and he says roughly "No, stupid. She's the only one that can fly the helicopter. Without her, no one gets out of here alive."
Power hath its privileges because we NEED those people. That's what power hath its privileges is supposed to be about, not "I rigged the election and so no matter how shitty I behave, you fools need to protect me and enable me and aid and abet my bullshit!"
No one NEEDS Trump to be in the White House. If he were assassinated, Vance would step in and take his place and Vance can't possibly be WORSE than this shit even if he's a do nothing president jacking off at his desk in the oval office and watching this country burn instead of adding more gasoline to this conflagration like Donald Trump is doing.
I believe Trump ran for office HOPING to provoke assassination. I think he's dying a slow and gruesome death, knows it and is a Christian nutter who still HOPES to get into heaven after a lifetime of debauchery and depravity and thinks that if he can find a LOOPHOLE for suicide that his ALL KNOWING God will fall for, he still has a shot at heaven.
And as a dying narcissist, that's the ONLY thing that he cares about.
This piece is not a call for assassination. I don't remotely want a sitting president assassinated, no.
It's a call for reviewing what in the HELL has gone wrong that everyone is so eager to waste vast resources on protecting a man who shouldn't have been allowed to run to begin with given his HISTORY of CONVICTIONS for election tampering and his statement on camera that THIS election was RIGGED.
He's absolutely NOT fit to serve. The entire planet KNOWS that and it's clear he didn't get this position via legitimate channels AND he's DESTROYING the country.
Power hath its privileges is supposed to mean "Who fucking CARES he can't SPELL worth a damn? Hire someone to handle that. It's not important. Secretaries are a lot easier to come by than people qualified to make the important decisions."
It's supposed to mean "Overlook stupid personal quirks and cater to minor preferences and predilections. If he WANTS cheesecake at 10:07 p.m. every night, get it for him. What is your problem? THIS shit is NOT important."
It's not supposed to mean "If you illicitly grab power via a STOLEN election and proceed to intentionally RUIN the country, we shall all RESPECT your privileges and cater to your whims and protect your life and blah blah blah blah blah as PRESIDENT while you blatantly cater to no one but yourself and openly flaut all the rules and brag about it."
Donald Trump is NOT serving this country. He serves no one but himself and wasn't even legitimately elected.
The power he has and wields doesn't merit privileges and respect. It's a gross misuse of an office intended to serve the interests of the United States of America and its people.
His shit should be treated with the contempt it deserves.
